Situated in Alibaug, this project employs a series of courtyards to not only zone the private as well as the more public programs in the house, but also to create a layering where there is a visual blur between the inside and the outside. The swimming pool is partly covered to provide protection from the sun, while a series of sliding shutters can cut the pool off from the garden for privacy or open it up to embrace the garden landscape.
